WH40K Commissions Week 2: Iron Hands Terminators

So I'm up on my second week on the Space Marine commissioned works. The first squad can be viewed here, and I should mention that these guys made it into the front page of the Philippine's premier mecha plamo site Mechapinoy. This week I'd had some Space Marine Terminators finished.

The Terminators (Termies as we affectionately call them) in their unpainted state

These are one of my favorite units in Warhammer 40,000 as they can provide tremendous shock assault and much needed support to their brother Marines. This squad is mostly equipped with storm bolters and power fists while the Sergeant's close-combat weapon is a power sword instead.

Again, just a short background on these guys: The Iron Hands Chapter of Space Marines are the most attuned to machines and thus most of them sport some sort of bionic augmentation. Their colors are mainly black and gunmetallic, but the owner specified I use more of gun metal so as for his Marines not to look like Chaos Marines. Terminators are among the oldest and most experienced among their brethren and as such, they are honored with access to Tactical Dreadnought armor (more commonly known as Terminators) and heavy weaponry.

All these guys were drybrushed with Semco,Citadel and Vallejo acrylics.

So what's next on the painting block? This guy:

Can you say 'DREADNOUGHT!!!'

More to come as the Marines come marching in!
